Presentación de un paciente con lepra lepromatosa
Abstract
Se presentó un caso de lepra lepromatosa, cuyo diagnóstico se corroboró por clínica. El paciente, masculino, mestizo de 20 años de edad, presenta lesiones cutáneas de cuatro meses de evolución nódulos e infiltraciones múltiples diseminadas por todo el tegumento cutáneo, fiebre, dolores articulares , edemas de las manos y pies. Se realizó estudio que incluyó baciloscopia de lepra, donde se confirmó que era positiva de micobacterium leprae. Se comenzó el tratamiento con multidrogas hasta desaparecer el cuadro clínico.

ABSTRACT
A lepromatous leprosy case that was confirmed by the clinical examination was presented in this work, a male patient of 29 year, who had skin lesions of 4 months of evolution with nodules and multiple infiltrations disseminated over all the skin tissue, he also had fever, joints pain, hands and feet edema. Leprosy baciloscopy was done to confirm the positive diagnosis of mycobacterium leprae. A multidrug therapy was given, and the clinical manifestations desappeared.
