Algunos factores relacionados con el rendimiento académico
Abstract
Se reflexionó sobre el tema del rendimiento académico y su repercusión en la vida académica de estudiantes y profesores; se analizaron algunos conceptos y la influencia de varios factores en su comportamiento. El tema del rendimiento académico no puede concebirse desde una perspectiva unilateral, su condición multifactorial y por ende, su complejidad demuestra la importancia de desarrollar estrategias de intervención para el tratamiento adecuado de esta problemática en todas las enseñanzas y en particular en la educación universitaria.

ABSTRACT
The main objective of this paper is to assess the academic output and its influence on the academic life of the students and professors. Some concepts and the influence of several factors upon the performance of academic output were also analyzed. The issue of academic performance can not be seen from a unilateral perspective, its multifactorial condition and hence its complexity demonstrates the importance of developing intervention strategies for a proper treatment of this problem in all the teachings and particularly in university education.
