Reporte de una paciente con tumor de aurícula derecha

Abstract

Se presentó una paciente de siete años que acudió a Servicio de Urgencias del Centro de Diagnóstico Integral Dr. Ángel López Rondón, municipio García, estado Nueva Esparta, Venezuela, por síncope recurrente, dolor torácico y fiebre. Al explorarla se hallaron componente tricuspídeo muy intenso, ruido protodiastólico intenso y retumbo paraesternal izquierdo bajo modificables al cambio postural, hepatomegalia e ingurgitación yugular. Se realizó un ecocardiograma transtorácico que reveló una masa intracardíaca a nivel del atrio derecho compatible con un mixoma y se intervino quirúrgicamente con éxito, pero sin confirmación histológica.
