Impact of Deep Anesthesia on the Patient's Experience During Endodontic Treatment
Keywords:

Deep anesthesia plays a crucial role in endodontics, as it directly impacts the patient's experience during the procedure. Considering that endodontic interventions can provoke high levels of pain and anxiety, effective anesthesia not only ensures patient comfort, but also optimizes the accuracy and flow of the clinical process. Its use is particularly significant in situations of irreversible pulpitis and in lower tooth therapy, where pain may be more severe and the effectiveness of traditional anesthesia may be affected.
The impact of deep anesthesia on the patient's experience is reflected in several essential factors: (1) Pain management, significantly decreasing pain perception and related anxiety; (2) Increased access and visibility for the technician, facilitating greater accuracy in root canal instrumentation; (3) Efficacy in inflamed teeth, improving the action of local anesthetics; (4) Patient satisfaction, with a decrease in postoperative pain; and (5) Patient satisfaction, with a decrease in postoperative pain.
This analysis examines how deep anesthesia affects the patient's perception and degree of comfort during endodontics, in addition to its impact on the efficacy of the clinical procedure and long-term outcomes.
