Abstract

This study analyzes the prevalence of strabismus at the Ambato Regional Teaching Hospital from 2020 to 2024. Strabismus, an ocular disorder that affects eye alignment, significantly impacts vision and quality of life. Through a review of medical records, factors such as age, type of strabismus, and clinical interventions are assessed. The findings provide a detailed overview of the distribution of this condition, helping identify at-risk groups and guide future diagnostic and treatment strategies in the region. This analysis has implications for medical care and resource planning in the ocular field.
