Recovery of periradicular tissues in a patient after endodontic treatment

Abstract

The restoration of periradicular tissues following endodontic treatment is critical for the long-term success of the procedure. This case study presents the recovery of periradicular tissues in a patient who underwent endodontic treatment for a molar with periapical lesion. Significant improvement in healing and tissue regeneration was observed after appropriate therapy, which included strict follow-up and the use of proper obturation and restoration techniques. The literature review highlights the importance of proper management of periradicular tissues to avoid complications such as recurrent infections or loss of the treated tooth. It is concluded that successful restoration of these tissues is essential to ensure the durability of endodontic treatment.
