Diseño de la Biblioteca digital del Hospital Vladimir Ilich Lenin de Holguín

Resumen

Se realizó  un  estudio  de innovación  tecnológica  en  la  Biblioteca  del  Hospital  General Universitario Vladimir  Ilich Lenin de Holguín, con el objetivo de diseñar  una  biblioteca  digital  que  recopile  literatura  médica,  nacional  e internacional, clasificada por especialidades, útil a los especialistas que laboran en la institución. La  necesidad de acceder a un volumen creciente de información de manera rápida, económica y ordenada, demandaron de la creación una biblioteca digital adecuada a las exigencias de la institución con fines docentes y de investigación. Para esto, se emplearon MySQL como sistema gestor de base de datos y Web Apache como servidor. La información puede recuperarse por autor, título y descriptor del asunto, y puede obtenerse copia de los textos completos de los documentos en formato PDF, con el propósito de facilitar el acceso a la información que requieren en particular actividades como la asistencia, la docencia y la investigación médica.

ABSTRACT

 

A study of technological innovation at the Library of Vladimir Ilich Lenin General University Hospital of Holguín was performed. The objective of this work was to design a digital library to compile the national and international medical literature of different specialties of interest for hospital specialists. The ability to access the volume increased information generated in the network of networks, and the need to organize access to scientific information, demanded the creation of this digital library developed using as a management system Database MySQL and Apache Web server to improve the scientific investigations, healthcare and teaching work of the intitution. Authors can obtain information regarding title and descriptor of a given topic and copy of full text of documents in PDF format with updated information.
